Trail Rides in Canmore Canada on Geronimo

Me on Geronimo at Rafter Six Ranch in Canmore CanadaIn Canmore, Canada, I went horse riding. We went to a place called Rafter Six Ranch. In the paddock there were lot's of horses, and there was a donkey. His name was Donkey as well!

My mum met her horse, which was called Survivor and then I met my horse, Geronimo. Geronimo was an Appaloosa, which was a breed of horse that I had never ridden before.

On the trail ride we did a bit of trotting, and we rode through snow in some parts where we saw some bear tracks. But Geronimo always wanted to eat the grass, so I had to pull him up all the time. It was also the first time I had ridden on a Western Saddle. When we got back we took some nice pictures of the two magnificent Shire horses that were in the corrals, and I said good bye to the Piebald mare. I called her Sniffles, because she kept sniffing me. Just before we went home, we saw a wolf running out in the open fields.

If you are ever in Canmore I can recommend going there for a trail ride, it was great fun.
