There’s No Place Like Horsey Home

While we have been travelling we have been to lot's of horsey places, but I still can't wait to get back home. I can't wait to see my dog again, my best friend, my relatives, and I am really looking forward to seeing the pony I ride at Avonlea Farm Riding.

His name is Herbie, but I nickname him Herbles. When I go to Avonlea I do something called Saturday Saddle Club. First we feed the horses and go into groups to look after a certain horse or pony.
We sometimes do some riding and do fun activities. Soon after that I have my lesson on Herbie. At Avonlea they have 14 horses and ponies, but they have other animals too.
They have a donkey, a sheep, some dogs, some chickens, some geese and they even have a kangaroo.

I can remember heaps of names of the horses such us Woody, Harry, Oliver, Nathan, Bunny, Dudley, Debi, Abby, Golly, Zeppy and heaps more.

I'm also looking forward to seeing Sausage the cute little Sausage Dog. Once, for Saturday saddle club, we did a mini Gymkana. I came 4th in the jumping, which I still can't believe. There was also a big Gymkana held at Avonlea once and I rode Herbie in it. I came 6th in something and I got a ribbon. I can't wait to see Herbie again!
